Need Shirts, Hats or Woodprints? Look No Further
The guys at Cayucos Collective are just so cool…they’re a group of local surfers and skaters who also make beautiful visual art. In 2013, they opened up a beautiful store front right on Ocean Ave, minutes from the beach in Cayucos. You can seriously get a sugar high from all the eye candy in this shop. They have racks full of custom designed T-Shirts from various designers. Unique art (wood carved waves, paintings, wood prints) and hats are also available. One of the owners, Anthony is a vast resource for anyone looking to deepen their knowledge of surf culture, design and entrepreneurship. Abe Toke, the other owner, is long time local artist savvy with traditional craftsmanship and fine art. It’s really worth stopping by even if you have no intention to buy anything.
Not Just for Tourists
One of the coolest things about Cayucos Collective is their ability to print custom designs and work will all types of quantities. Unlike a traditional screen printer, CC uses the latest digital printing technology, (DTG = Direct to Garment), meaning you can do a full color print onto a single shirt of any color and size, with no set up cost.. They are also very accommodating for bands and local designers. If you need 100 shirts in three days, they work with you.
